C rosby & Neal Funeral Homes was founded by Elwin L. Crosby in 1937. During the 1950s, his son, Alton B. Crosby, and his son in law, A. Maurice Neal joined the firm. The next generation, consisting of Michael L. Crosby and Peter B. Neal, followed in their father's footsteps during the 1970s.
