DEXTER - Albert Michael Sawtelle, 60, died February 2, 2022 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born July 17, 1961 in Dexter, a son of George and Marilyn (Pullen) Sawtelle. He was a 1980 graduate of Bangor High School. He worked in the construction field as a carpenter. Later as a logger and sawmill operator, and in his final years, as a tractor trailer driver for various companies. He loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, fishing, hunting and riding his Harley.\n\nHe is survived by his children Jamie Sawtelle and Albert Sawtelle, Jr., both of Ripley, Laura Sawtelle and Jeremy Sawtelle, both of Dexter; sisters, Constance Strickland of Topsham and Carolyn Pooler of Old Town; grandchildren Allie Messina, James, Peyton and Bryce Sawtelle.\n\nHe was predeceased by his significant other, Diane Lessard, father George W. Sawtelle, and brother, Anthony Sawtelle.\n\nA celebration of life will be held in the spring. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
