Andrew S. Clark Obituary (1930

PLYMOUTH - Andrew Clark, 91, died September21, 2021 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born February 19, 1930 in Massena, New York, a son of Harold and Ruth (Sutton) Clark. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and worked as a Master Machinist at Pratt & Whitney in North Haven, CT. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Maine in 1991. He was a lifelong Mason, lifetime member of V.F.W. in Wallingford, CT, and a lifelong member of the Purple Heart Club. Andrew was an avid Red Sox fan. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred (Downs) Clark of Plymouth; 2 sons, Gary and wife Elizabeth Clark of Northford, CT, and Gregory Clark of Newport; a sister, Lydia Hosmer of Lewiston, Idaho; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 8 siblings. A graveside funeral and committal service will be held at 11 A. M. Monday, September 27th, at the Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
