GARLAND--Anita "Nan" Mooers, 72, passed away March 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 30, 1946 in Guilford a daughter of George and Cora (Todd) Hathaway. She was employed for many years at Fayscott, Garland Store, and St. Joseph Hospital until her retirement in 2009.\n\nAnita was a member of the Garland Community Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, basket making, sewing, and most of all riding with her husband, Roger, on their motorcycle.\n\nIn addition to her husband of Garland, she is survived by a stepdaughter, Rhoda and husband Willie Underhill and their sons, Josh, Chris and Tony all of Stetson; 2 brothers, Larry and wife Denise Clark of Wiscassett and Mike Hathaway of MA; 3 sisters and their husbands, Ida and Bill Mayhew of Plymouth, Georgia and Phil Cossar of Corinna and Patti and Forest LaBounty of Keene, NH; 2 granddaughters, Amanda and husband Barry Deering and their children, Caden, Addyson, Ava, Kaylee, Matt and Macey all of Ripley and Jaimie and husband Will and their daughter Olivia all of Dexter; and many nieces and nephews.\n\nAnita was predeceased by her parents; 2 daughters, Terry Jo Webber and Patti and her spouse Jim Gudroe; 2 brothers, Jerry and his wife Beverly Clark and Donald Hathaway; a sister, Betty and her husband Bradley Fish.\n\nFuneral services will be held 11 A. M. Wednesday, March 13th at the Garland Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Millett officiating. Friends may call from 10 A. M. until the time of the service. Spring burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Terry Webber Youth Fund, c/o Garland Community Baptist Church, P. O.
