Basil L. Wentworth, Sr. Obituary (1937

PARKMAN- Basil L. Wentworth Sr., 78, passed away peacefully at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, October 7, 2015, surrounded by his family. Basil was born in Abbot, March 21, 1937, the son of Orel and Marion (True) Wentworth. Basil worked at Hardwood Products Company in Guilford for over 40 years. He enjoyed time with his family, hunting, fishing, and watching the Red Sox. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lorraine (Darke) Wentworth of Parkman; a son, Randy Wentworth and his wife, Cheri of Abbot; a daughter, Nancy Crabtree and her fiance, Alvin McDonald of Guilford; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. Basil was predeceased by a son, Basil Jr. and a daughter, Linda Cookson. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 16, 2015, at the Village Cemetery in Abbot, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating.
