Carolyn F. Merrill

STETSON – Carolyn Merrill, 81, died January 22, 2024 at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 31, 1942 in Salina, Kansas, a daughter of Floyd and Bertha (Gorth) Bland. She was a charter and past member of the Sebasticook Valley Snowmobile Club and actively involved in the Pine Tree Camp Ride In for many years.

She is survived by 2 sons, Richard of Bradley, Dale and wife Traci of Stetson; a grandson, Cory. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband Ralph, son David, and granddaughter Amber Merrill.

A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at Clark’s Hill Cemetery, Stetson. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 654 State Street, Bangor, ME 04401.
