PITTSFIELD - Clermont H. Spencer, 88, went home to be with the Lord January 23, 2023. He was born August 8, 1934 in Passadumkeag, a son of William and Mary (Harris) Spencer. He was a faithful member of the Lord's Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kate Spencer; sons Jim, Roland and Richie; daughters Sylvia, Rebecca and Kara; one sister Priscilla Grant; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.\n\nHe was predeceased by his daughters Helena and Genieve, son Steven and grandson Dana.\n\nClermont worked many years at both the Clinton Woolen Mill and Pittsfield Woolen Yarns. In his later years he worked as a boiler man at Hancock Lumber.\n\nA celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Pittsfield Church of Christ, 245 Phillips Corner Road in Pittsfield. Spring burial will take place at the Pittsfield Village Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
