Dallas L. Patterson Obituary (1947 - 2014)

ABBOT- Dallas L. Patterson, 67, died on June 14, 2014, at his home in Abbot. He was born on January 13, 1947, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of the late Stanley and Marguerite (Knowlton) Patterson. He was a lifelong resident of Abbot, and referred to himself as a putterer. Dallas also had a love of 4 wheeling with friends, fishing, chatting with neighbors, and playing cribbage with his brother at the local store. He is survived by his wife, of almost 43 years, Betty (Cobb) Patterson of Abbot; a son, Mark Patterson and his wife, Ashley of Shirley; a daughter, Michelle Patterson and her children, Delan and Caitlin all of Abbot; his twin brother, Dennis Patterson and his wife, Becky of Abbot; half-brothers, Fred Hall of Abbot, Richard Hall and his wife, Nancy of Sangerville, and Dwinal Hall of Sangerville, and 2 others; plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by half-brother, Lloyd Hall; half-sisters; Gloria Knowlton, Phyllis Tuttle, Carolyn Hall, and his best friend, Joe Pullyard Jr. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1pm, Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Dallas' home: 41 Monument Rd in Abbot. Burial will follow at 4pm, at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford. The family would like to extend special thanks to Diana Vandermast of Northwoods Healthcare in Sangerville and Dr. Maegawa of LaFayette Cancer Center in Brewer, Maine for their wonderful care of Dallas.
