GUILFORD- Dolores Jean Williams, 78, passed away at her home in Guilford on July 12,2014. \n\n"Dodie" as she preferred to be called was a well known cook and hard worker her whole life, also very well known for her pies. She worked at Drakes Restaurant for many years as well as many other nursing and boarding homes. \n\nDodie was pre deceased by her husband Wayne Williams on November 13, 2001. Dodie was the daughter of Walter (Bill) and Cleora (Dutchy) Goode. Dodie was also predeceased by her step son Terry Williams of Guilford. \n\nShe is survived by 2 stepsons Ronnie Williams and his wife Sheila of South Carolina, Chuck Williams and his wife Priscilla and son Tyler of Belfast 2 sons Walter (Willie) Williams, fiance Carla Arno, grandson Stephen Williams ,granddaughter Tiffany Porter as well as Michael Williams of Greenbush and wife Debbie and grand daughter Andrea of Rhode Island. She is also survived my many neices and nephews whom she spent a lot of time with growing up. \n\nDodie was well known through out her community by everyone and loved by all. \n\nGraveside services will be held at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford on Thursday July 17th at 1Pm with a reception immediately following at her residence on 13 Hudson Ave. in Guilford. \n\nArrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
