DEXTER- Dwight Lee Brackett, Sr. 78, passed away July 14, 2013 in Dexter, at home, surrounded by love. He was born July 21, 1934, in Buxton, Maine to H. Lawrence and Julia (Waldron) Brackett, one of nine children.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith (Linscott) Brackett; 7 children; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

He was a respected well-driller and mechanic. His first love was racing, but his lifelong companion was a John Deere tractor.

Dwight, a man of many talents, will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Honoring his wishes, there will be no service.
