RIPLEY--Elizabeth Wanda Haseltine, 96, died peacefully July 25, 2012 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a brief illness. \n\nShe was born November 13, 1915, in Ripley, the daughter of Stanley and Charlotte (Patterson) Raymond.\n\nLib spent her entire life in Ripley and was a long-time member of the Ripley United Methodist Church. She had been an active member of the Ladies Aid, Ripley Grange, Christmas Club, and Extension. She was always ready to go and enjoyed all of her club meetings, including the Friday night and Sunday afternoon outings.\n\nThe family is particularly grateful to Tammy, Danny and Brandon Brasier for their loving care and support that allowed her to remain in her home with her beloved cat, Honey.\n\nLib is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jackson Thomas of Orono; \ngrandchildren, Susan and husband Ken Sivik, Steven and wife Mary Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Tyler and Hilary Sivik, and Erin and Melanie Jackson, all of Bangor. \n\nShe was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Linwood, "Tim" Hoyt Haseltine and 2 brothers, Nelson and Donald.\n\nFuneral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, July 28th at the Ripley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Anna C. Beach officiating. Friends may call from 1 P.M. until the time of services. Burial will be in the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
