RIPLEY- Florence J. Leavitt, 73, died peacefully on December 17, 2014, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, with her family by her side. She was born November 26, 1941, in Dexter, the daughter of Garnett and Marguerite (Osmond) Bubar.

She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Roger C. Leavitt in 2011.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Leavitt of Las Vegas, NV, and Randy and his wife, Nara Leavitt of Levant; her daughters, Jane and her husband, Randy Hall of Dover-Foxcroft and Susan and her husband, Michael Crane of Charleston; grandchildren, Joshua, Jason and Jessica Lord, Terri Rehkopf, Trevor Leavitt, and Branden Leavitt; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed and we will all miss her great cooking.

At her request there will be no public services at this time. In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Heart Assn., 51 US Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074.
