PARKMAN- George W. Small, 63, died January 26, 2011, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born March 9, 1947, son of Wesley and Jeannette (Brooks) Small.

He served in the U.S. Navy. He lived for most of his life on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, and worked for over 50 years as a commercial fisherman. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In February 2003 he and his wife, Linda moved to Parkman, Maine.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda (Pike) Small of Parkman, 5 children, Lisa Hoban, Ken Small, Michelle Connelly, Denise Miner, and Leigh-Ann Fuller; and 8 grandchildren including Andrew Small, who lived with George and Linda. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Donna, Sarah, and Pat.
