Obituary

ROCKWOOD- Katharyn "Kitty" J. Munster, 90, died January 1, 2012, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, surrounded by her family. She was born September 6, 1921, in Greenville, daughter of James and Dorothy (Ramsey) Richards.

She and her husband, "Boy" started the Munster's Tackle Shop in Rockwood in 1963, and she became well known far and wide for her "Fly Tying". Kitty loved NASCAR, U Maine Hockey, and walking. Her interests also included working with oils, decorative painting, and crocheting.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Diane E. Morenko of Coventry, RI, and Karen Folsom and her husband, Bill of Rockwood; daughter-in-law, Diane Munster of FL; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis "Boy" Munster; a brother, James; and a son, Lewis.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2012, at the Greenville Chapel of Crosby & Neal, at the Masonic Building on Pritham Avenue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Friday, January 6, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville with the Rev. Fr. Richard Malo celebrant.

Spring burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Rockwood.
