MONSON- Rena Karoliina (Korsman) Stone, 76, died June 19, 2013, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 7, 1936, in Monson, the daughter of Arvo and Maila (Ulman) Korsman. She worked hard all her life and upon her retirement she went to work part time at the Monson Post Office and then fully retired to help take care of her grandchildren. Rena loved traveling to visit friends and family, family cookouts, music, scratch tickets, playing cards, baking bullas, working with family members on their projects and life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frank P. Stone of Monson; 9 children, a daughter, Annalee Korsman Libby and husband, Michael of Old Town, a daughter, Leeanna Korsman Cloutier and husband, Rene of Cushing, and their 2 children, Kyle, and Kirstin, a son, Arvo "Timmy" Korsman and wife, Vanesa of Guilford, and their 2 children, Garnet, and Greta, a daughter, Shirleen Stone Vainio and husband, Steven of Monson, and their 2 children, Chastity and Hannah, a daughter, Wanda "Jeannie" Stone Mooers and husband, Peter of Monson and their daughter, Amanda, a daughter, Brenda "Miko" Stone Clawson and husband, Glenn of Monson, and their 5 children, Justin, Jennifer, Nicholas, Samuel, and Heidi, a daughter, Dalynda "Molly" Stone Storer and husband, Kevin of Monson, and their son Jacob, a son, Frank "Rick" Stone of Monson, and his 3 children, Drewcilla, Frank III, and Nea, a daughter, Nina Stone Pratt and husband, Joel of Monson and their 3 children, Carter, Cameron, and Chloe; 5 great grandchildren, Ryker, Miles, Charlotte, Rylan and Mila, several nieces and nephews, close friends and one close friend and neighbor, Chris Turner of Monson.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Arvo Korsman, and a sister, Irene Schaff.

A celebration of Rena's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, July 7 at her residence, 99 Water Street, Monson. A private burial will be held at the Lake Road Cemetery in Monson.
