DEXTER--Robert Charles Bell, 74, passed away February 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1942 in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Donald and Dorothy (Grant) Bell. He graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1961, and went into the Army Reserves.\n\nRobert was employed many years at Dexter Shoe Company in Milo and Dexter, and later for Fed Ex Ground. He was a people greeter at Walmart and was thought of there as a very special man. He was a dedicated firefighter for years for the Milo and Dexter departments. Robert will be always be remembered as a kind, and caring man.\n\nHe is survived by his wife Judith (Harrington) Bell of Dexter; a daughter, Rose Ryan and husband George of Sangerville; a brother, James and wife Livie Bell of Dexter; 2 sisters, Louise Dulac of Dover-Foxcroft and Susan Russotti of Rochester, NY; a brother in law, David Brumm of Pittsfield; stepchildren, Brian Fellows of Livermore, CA, Bridget Fellows of Freemont, CA, and Gregory Fellows of Dexter; grandchildren, Ashley, Meghan, Jacob, Jenny, Bradyn, Corynne, Rousanna, Kayla and Rylee; great grandchildren, Tristan and Myla; several nieces and nephews. Robert thought the world of his dog, Maggie. He will be missed by his family, friends and his dog. \n\nHe was predeceased by his parents; a son, Charlie; and a sister Sally Brumm.\n\nMilitary graveside committal services will be held 11 A. M. Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 at Brann's Mills Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. \n\nArrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
