CARMEL & ETNA - Ruth E. Guerette, 63, now lives with Jesus.\nShe was born October 31, 1953, in CT. the daughter of the late Thelma (Small) Butler and Raymond Small, and step-father Marshall Butler.\nShe was also predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Guerette and son, Paul Guerette.\n\nRuth graduated from Hermon High School and went on to receive her BS in Secondary Education, Masters in Special Education and Doctorate in Religious Studies. Ruth had many interests which she shared with all including singing, reading, cooking and gardening. The churches Ruth attended were Carmel Union, South Levant, Calvary Chapel and she was pastor at Kenduskeag Union Church. She most recently attended Harvest Chapel of Levant. Ruth was a member of the Golden Harvest Grange, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and several others. \n\nRuth is survived by 2 sons, Brian Guerette, Sr, wife Laurie and family; and Jason Guerette, wife Danielle and family; a special grandson who lived with her for many years, Brian Guerette, Jr; brother, Louis and wife May-Dawn Small and family; sisters, Mary and husband Dave Rogers and family, Linda and husband Ron McKusick and family, and Karen Small. Ruth also had several other loved ones including a special friend, Mike Patin and family.\n\nA Celebration of Life Service will be at Harvest Chapel, 3531 Union Street, Levant, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your favorite organization.
