Ruth (Robinson) Prescott\n\nDEXTER - Ruth R. Prescott, 88, died January 9, 2009 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born October 17, 1920 in Dexter a daughter of Adrian and Louise (Hoyt) Robinson. \n\nShe graduated from N. H. Fay High School, Class of 1938. She married Maynard Prescott on Sept. 1, 1940, who predeceased her. Ruth was a member of the Ripley United Methodist Church and the Ripley Ladies Aid. She was a life member of Wassookeag Chapter #44, Order of The Eastern Star, and also belonged to the Star Club and the Dexter Golden Age Club. \n\nShe is survived by a daughter Rebecca "Becky" Chenevert of Dexter; 3 grandchildren, Robert, William and Bonita Beach; one great grandchild Briana Beach; 4 step grandchildren, Daryl and Don Chenevert, Diane Shoemaker and Deborah Dallalis; 12 step great grandchildren; 1 step great great grandchild. \n\nFriends may call from 7 to 9 PM Friday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 2 P.M. Saturday, January 17th, with Pastor Lois Field officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt.
