NEWPORT - Skylar Schaefer-Dunton, infant daughter of Eric M. Dunton and Mallorie J. Schaefer, died July 4, 2013 at her Newport residence.

She was born June 4, 2013 in Bangor.

" Who knew someone so little could create a love so vast, from the very moment we saw you we knew we would be in love forever. You created a bond between the people who got to hold you, never met you, who prayed for you and were affected by your heart and soul. We will forever miss you. "

In addition to her parents of Newport, she is survived by her brother Jayden Schaefer, also of Newport; paternal grandparents, Donald and Roberta Dunton of Belfast; MeGramma- Lisa Nickerson of Rockland; PooPa- Steven Nickerson and Auntie Tayler of Belfast; and maternal grandfather Tom Schaefer of Orrington.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Gayle.

The family will be having a private service.
