DEXTER & OLD TOWN - Susan E. Emery, 55, died unexpectedly August 30, 2009 at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 4, 1954 at Dexter a daughter of Clayton and Vivian (Parker) Ambrose. \n\nSusan worked as a caregiver and loved children; especially her grandchildren. She liked playing Beano, playing cards, singing "Karaoke", shopping and cooking. Susan especially enjoyed her new home. \n\nIn addition to her mother, Vivian Perkins of Corinth, and step-mother, Lillie Ambrose of Sangerville, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Chuck Emery of Old Town; 4 sons, Trey and fiancee Michelle of Old Town, Robbie and girlfriend Melissa of Lamoine, Chad of Pittsburgh, PA, Ricky and Marcy of Howland; 4 sisters, Estelle and husband Monty Rowe of Corinth, Julie Washington of Dexter, Lisa and husband Joel Pelletier of Passadumkeag, Mary and Ron Sweet, Jr. of Exeter; 8 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. \n\nShe was predeceased by her dog Bear.\n\nFuneral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 2nd, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where friends may call from 10 AM until the time of services. \n\nInterment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. \n\nIn lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family in care of the funeral home.
