DEXTER - William J. Komar, 81, beloved husband of the late Jean Komar, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018. He was born January 19, 1937 in Bridgeport , Connecticut to the late George and Pauline Komar.

He is survived by his 6 children Sheryl Gatison, Richard Komar, Gregg Komar, Stephen Komar , Kelly Cohen, and Kevin Komar; as well as 5 Step children Jerilynn O'Conner , Andy Amrich, Bernard Amrich, Charles Amrich, and Paula Amrich . He has one surviving Brother George Komar and many grandchildren and great Grandchildren.

William ( Bill) loved to hunt and fish, loved his many dogs, tinkering on his cars and being outdoors. A graveside service will be held at 9 A.M. Saturday, October 13, at Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
