PLYMOUTH -Zachary "Zack" or as his friends called him "Buzz" Braley, 28, was taken far too soon in his home the morning of February 25, 2017. \n\nZack was the first of two sons born to Kevin and Vickey (Witham) Braley on November 18, 1988. It didn't matter if it was in his garage working on dirt bikes, snowmobiles, and four wheelers, or riding on any and all of them; welding, building and burning bon fires, mudding in his pond at his home, hunting, skeet and target shooting or fishing; just as long as he was doing it surrounded by his many amazing friends.\n\nHe was employed at Zaychek Mechanical of Argyle, NY. Zach had previously been employed at A. M. Graves Construction and at C. A. Newcomb & Sons. He also will be remembered for helping everyone he knew with anything and everything.\n\nHe is survived by his mother, Vickey Witham and husband, Chris Hamor; paternal grandmother, Helen Braley; his brother, Dalton Everett Braley and wife, Morghan; the love of his life, Meghan Maddocks; his nephew and best friend, Jackson Kevin Braley; step sisters, Taylor and MacKenzie Hamor; beloved aunt Penny Demmons and husband Gerald, Uncles Larry and Bob Braley, Ronald Witham and wife Marie, Barry Witham and wife Carla, Larry Witham and wife Cathy and Andrew Witham and wife Deanna; many cousins; special friends Leigh Lander, boyfriend Matt Walker, Cole Cookson, Dylan Carroll, Kyle Ayer, Dave White, Joey Coffin, Dustin Dean, Brandon Hyson, Jeff Walker and many more.\n\nZack was predeceased by his angel daughter, Piper Jane Braley; paternal grandfather, Carl Braley; his father, Kevin Braley; maternal grandparents Arthur and Inez Witham; and Uncle Timfy Newt Braley.\n\nServices will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with Pastor Al Worden officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until the time of services. A Celebration of life will immediately follow at the American Legion in Newport. Burial will be at Sawyer Cemetery in the spring.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, donations in Zack's honor can be made to Peoples United Bank, Zack Braley Memorial Fund, 44 Moosehead Trail, Newport, ME 04953.
